“Fred’s passion for food systems work coupled with his many years of experience as a farmer, a small business owner, and as an agricultural professional with WSDA will be a perfect fit toward the mission and goals of the NABC,” explains David Bauermeister, Executive Director. “We look forward to having Fred’s knowledge and skills available for the benefit of producers in northwest Washington.
Fred most recently served as Small Farm Program Coordinator at WSDA and more recently as Education and Outreach Specialist for the Office of Compliance and Outreach in the Food Safety & Consumer Services Division. As Project Manager for NABC, Fred will be actively involved in NABC client services. His expertise includes business education, product development, infrastructure development, food safety, and regulatory assistance.
“I am excited and enthusiastic to contribute my expertise toward the success of the many projects that the NABC is currently undertaking as well as future endeavors of this effective non-profit organization,” says Fred.
