The farms of Snohomish County, WA welcome the fall harvest with family-friendly activities all through the month of October. There's something for everyone!
Snohomish Festival of Pumpkins - Snohomish
There's lots to do on the five area farms and nearby downtown Snohomish during this annual celebration. Carved pumpkin contest and games, live entertainment, kids crafts, a Pumpkin River Race, Sidewalk Costume Contest, and the 2nd annual Pumpkin Hurl featuring competitive trebuchet teams vying for 1st-place distance tosses of over 1800 feet!
Red Rooster Route - Arlington/ Marysville
Explore the flavors and sights on six local family farms. Pick heirloom vegetables, enjoy fresh berries and ice cream treats, go for a wagon ride, see sheep-herding dogs in action, visit a petting farm or indulge your senses on a lavender farm. Click here for a full-color pdf map to the farms.
Sky Valley Farm Festival - Sultan
Farm maps are available at Stocking's Garden at 29900 Fern Bluff Rd in Monroe. Tour working dairy, beef and produce farms. Watch sheering and spinning demonstrations at Gretchen's Wool Mill, enjoy artisan cheeses at Black Sheep Creamery, find your way through a corn maze, and much more!
October 17 & 18:
This northern Snohomish County community offers a delicious taste of small town spirit in a rural setting. The Stillaguamish River and the Centennial Trail are perfect backdrops to the many family farms located here.
Farming Yesterday & Today offers visitors a chance to tour local farms not usually open to the public. Dress for any weather and for all-terrain! Farm tours, farming demonstrations, herding trials, pumpkins, corn mazes, and special products not usually available. Many events are free and all are family friendly. Some activities may have a small fee; food and merchandise are available for purchase along the way.

Formerly a cattle ranch, this 40-acre farm has been meticulously transformed into a year-round wedding and reception facility with a totally remodeled 100-year old barn. On this special occasion, the barn will be filled with local artists displaying and selling their art to the public. There will also be a children’s table with an art instructor.
