The Transitioning to Value-Added Products classroom course will not be offered this year.  Although we will not be holding the formal program, the Northwest Agriculture Business Center (NABC) would  like to provide a more streamlined TVA program on an individual bases to interested parties.  During the past two TVA courses in 2007 & 2008 we have developed several templates and techniques that have assisted producers with entering new markets.  

If you are interested in this individualized version of the TVA class the NABC would like to offer the following for a fee of $500.00:

Transitioning to Value-Added Products course materials including templates, handouts, and instructions for use

25 hours NABC staff consulting to be scheduled around your availability over an 8 month period.  Consulting time will be specific to development of your value added product and / or business including:
*Assistance with market assessment
*Assistance with financial analysis
*Assistance with business planning

Connection to industry resources for product research and product development:
*1 year membership to Puget Sound Food Network (PSFN). *Membership to PSFN can be applied when producer is production ready
*PSFN is a web-based tool and network of people that enables real-time communication between food producers, consumers, and other participants in the Puget Sound regional food system-and facilitates online food-related transactions
