North Sound Voices Film Festival Screens at Historic Lincoln Theatre

On July 26, at the Lincoln Theatre in downtown Mount Vernon, Washington P’al Corazon – For the Heart, was screened as part of the North Sound Voices Film Festival. This groundbreaking series of films created by local filmmakers, features the people, movements, and moments shaping the future of the North Sound region. Including those like the farmers featured in P’al Corazon and the people who help them like NABC’s Latinx Business Development Program staff Alex Perez and Juan Morales.
“The Latinx Business Development Program is proud to see our clients’ hard work and determination highlighted on screen,” Perez shared. “There’s no better way to connect with audiences and build compassion than by uplifting the inspiring stories of the people who grow our region’s food. It’s especially meaningful to see a hardworking and committed farm family open their hearts and share their journey with the community.”
